Theatre Shows, Workshops, and Everything in Between!

It’s time to go Beyond!

As the first professional theatre company in Saskatoon, it is a great honour to be able to use theatre to amplify the voices of those who are underrepresented in our community while supporting the development of new Saskatchewan works.

After an over 20 year hiatus, 25th Street Theatre returned to the stage in 2021 with a production of Fruitcake, by Saskatoon-based playwright Heather Morrison.

25th Street Theatre is elated to be back, bringing engaging artistic opportunities to the community in and around Saskatoon, from professional theatre productions to workshops and everything in between.

On now:

Professional Development Workshop – Audition Skill-Building

Join Artistic Directors Anita Smith (25th Street Theatre) and Heather Cant (Persephone Theatre) for a new workshop series to help artists build their auditioning skillset.

Over 4 sessions, participants will connect with a variety of Saskatoon’s Directors and learn tips and tricks around battling nerves, etiquette, preparing auditions, choosing pieces, and performing auditions whether they be monologue or scene based.

Applications are now closed! Thank you to everyone who applied!

Coming Soon:

Collaboration Station+: On Tour!

Collaboration Station+: On Tour brings professional theatre artists together with communities and community groups across Saskatoon to create a Play in a Day – a full-day theatre-making extravaganza where participants will spend a day rehearsing, creating, and finally performing a short play for their friends and family.

The project will take place throughout March and April, with multiple days of theatre-making occurring over the two months (approximately once a week). Each week, a new area of the city will be selected, or a community group visited, and participants will be invited to join the Collaboration Station+ team in their area of town for the day.

Stay tuned for more information!
