
These spots are temporary locations along Broadway Avenue between 10th and 11th street (overflow will be between 11th and 12th street) and are only available during hours of street closure during the 2013 PotashCorp Fringe. You may come and go as you please within these hours but must be able to load your setup in and out without bringing a vehicle onto the street. For safety and logistical reasons there is no power available for these spots. New in 2013 these spots are all assigned!

Exclusivity agreements & Spray paint art
We carefully select the vendor forÂ
henna and airbrush tattoos and therefore do not allow anyone else to do them on Broadway Avenue. Any vendors doing this will forfeit their license fee and be asked to leave.
Please make special note on your application if you are not only selling spray painted art, but making it on the street. You will need special permission from festival staff, and your location will be determined by us.
Location, Space size, and Power
These vendors are located primarily in spaces allotted on Broadway Avenue between 10th and 11th street, along both sides of the median.
- Spots are either 5’x5’ or 10’x10’
- For safety and logistical reasons, there is no power available for these vendors.
Payment & What you can sell
After we review your application form, you will be sent a link to make payment via Paypal. Your spot will not be reserved until you pay the fee.
- We will contact you if there is some reason your application can’t be accepted.
- What you can sell is up to you. Crafts, art, jewellery, clothing, homemade beauty products, knick-knacks etc are typically what we see. Check out our photo gallery on facebook.com/yxefringe for pictures of vendors from 2012 if you want a better idea. You may not sell food, or copyrighted material.

Tents & Tables
There are tents allowed on Broadway Avenue for a surcharge (only with 10’x10’spots). Note: we do not rent tents for Broadway vendors. You must supply your own, and it must be properly weighed down, as winds are always an issue in summer. You are responsible for set-up and tear-down within the hours the street is open.  Large umbrellas for shade are also OK. Tables and chairs are the vendor’s responsibility and are not provided by the PotashCorp Fringe Theatre Festival, however, these you may rent them from us.Â
Security
Two person security is on site between 12:00 midnight and 8:00 am. Between 8:00 am and midnight we have a combination of staff support and police support services on site. This being said, if you leave your belongings unattended you do so at your own risk.
Vendor License & Set-up/Tear-down during festival
- You must pick up your vendor license and lanyard from the office- the portable at 639 Broadway Avenue in Victoria school, starting July 29th. Do not lose them! These items MUST be worn at all times when you are onsite with your booth, or you will be asked to immediately pack up and leave. No exceptions.
- After payment, vendors can choose their location on a first come, first served basis. It is necessary that you as a vendor check in with our office on your first day. You must be able to load your setup in and out without bringing a vehicle onto the street.
- There is no power available for Broadway craft vendors
Washrooms
There will be washrooms with running water located outside behind Victoria school, as well as portapotties.
Weather
- The PotashCorp Fringe festival is not responsible for any damage done to vendors/buskers goods due to weather. It is your choice to be open during bad weather. There are no refunds issued for bad weather.
Withdrawal Policy
- Withdrawal by, May 31, 2013: 75% refund
- Withdrawal after June 1, 2013: 50% refund
- Withdrawal on or after Aug 1, 2013 results in no refund.
