We will have one circle busking pitch in 2012, at the intersection of 11th Street and Broadway Avenue. We will have two five day fixed schedules, from Aug 1-5 and 6-10.

The bed of nails, sword swallowing and snake charming are some of the oldest circus stunts ever performed. Originating in India the traditions and customs associated with these stunts have been preserved by performers for thousands of years.
And now its Ganja’s turn…
The only problem is Ganja grew up in the suburbs of Melbourne Australia, and has absolutely no idea what an Indian custom or tradition is. This leads to one of the funniest shows you will ever see.

Adjudication & Fees
- After applying, we will contact you within 2 weeks to collect payment and sign our contract, or in the event that you are not approved, we will still contact you.
License and Lanyard
- You must pick up your busking license and lanyard from the office- the portable at 639 Broadway Avenue in Victoria school, starting July 29th. Do not lose them! These items MUST be worn at all times when you are onsite with your booth, or you will be asked to immediately pack up and leave. No exceptions.
Pitches & Schedule
- There will be one pitch- located at the intersection of 11th Street and Broadway Avenue. Anyone found to be busking at another location will have their license taken away.
- Time slots are one hour long, though you do not need to take the entire time. The pitch schedule has two five (5) day fixed schedules. The first schedule has 5 groups with 7 shows each from August 1-5, the second schedule has 5 groups with 6 shows each from August 6-10. It is our goal to have 10 unique shows. You may apply for placement in both 5 day schedules (the price would be $100 total) and in July, if we are not full, we will fill spots with companies wishing to perform both weekends.

Waitlist
Once our schedule is full (10 companies), a performer may still apply and be placed on our waitlist (organized by date applied). If an accepted performer withdraws, the performer at the top of the waitlist will be given the opportunity to move into the schedule.
Withdrawal Policy
- Withdrawal by May 31, 2013: 75% refund
- Withdrawal after June 1, 2013: 50% refund
- Withdrawal on or after Aug 1, 2013 results in no refund.
