Anything Boys Can Do… follows the true story of a young girl who falls in love with the art of magic and her frustrations with a world that insists magicians are men. Defying doubt and bias, she rises to success besting a few boys along the way. Filled with humour, heart, and magic, this story reminds us to look beyond first impressions and encourages everyone to chase their passions – no matter what.
The Artist:
Lisa Krol has performed magic at birthday parties, corporate events, and theatre festivals since the age of 12. Blending storytelling with a flair for the unexpected, she crafts theatrical experiences that inspire. Lisa is a grantee of the Tyler Fringe Touring Fund and will be also be performing in the Regina, Winnipeg, Edmonton, and Halifax Fringe Festivals in 2026. For this festival, Lisa is partnering with Jessica, a grade 6 student who enjoys reading, debating, and skating. This will be Jessica’s debut as a magician!
