If you have a show, we can find you a stage. Whether musician, actor, poet, circus performer, or something else entirely, we want to help you get your art out into the world! Flex provides an opportunity for new and emerging art and artists with a commitment to professional art to gain a foothold in the performing world. With mentored workshop opportunities and a wide selection of performing venues, Flex can provide the chance you need to make it big.

If you have a show or other performance that the world needs to see, this could be your big break! Flex performers will receive up to six shows in the 2008 Saskatoon Fringe Theatre Festival and be publicized in the Fringe program.

Interested performers will be required to provide a sample of their projected work to the Flex council for review along with a $20 non-refundable application fee. If you are selected, the council will work with you to determine which venue best suits your needs.

There is also the chance to make some money at this as well! Outdoor Stage performers will be paid a performance fee for each show. Buskers will "pass the hat" following a performance and solicit donations from their audience. The indoor venues will require admission from the audience, all proceeds of which will go to the performers.
