Outdoor Stage Information

The Fringe Outdoor Stage is located within the Beverage Garden on 11th Street East. Emphasis is placed on the generation of a casual, welcoming, family friendly atmosphere. Licensed areas allow for minors if they are accompanied by their legal guardian.

We are interested in a variety of performance entertainment for this stage; music, variety, circus, dance, etc. We look for acts that are upbeat, full of energy, and who will interact with the audience.

Musicians or acts interested in performing on the Outdoor Stage can submit an application package to be considered by our committee. Applications must be accompanied by:

• a demo CD, OR video, OR link to your website
• group bio
• description of your show/music
• Press kits are encourged

Musicians will be scheduled for one performance (generally two 45 minute sets). Payment rates are as follows:

For Union members: $150 for the lead and $85 for each side
For Non-Union members: $120 for the lead and $62.50 for each side

Emerging Performers

25th Street Theatre Centre’s Flex Program provides mentorship and paid performance opportunities at the Fringe for young emerging theatre and music artists .

Performance Buskers are welcome to participate in our Open Stage. Sign up is first come, first served daily during the festival, see the Beverage Garden Manager.
